Description:
“Sea Coral I” is a take on Hawaiian Applique. It is machine appliqued and couched around the applique with Superior Ricky Tims Razzle thread. The applique portion of the quilt was machine quilted from the front and the background portion of the quilt was quilted from the back picking up the design of the applique fabric. The piece also includes ruched flowers. The materials are commercial cottons and Superior Masterpiece thread. I quilted on my domestic Janome 8900 machine.
