I’ve been a quilter (topper) since the 90’s and started doing machine embroidery/applique a number of years ago. I truly love this technique and helped convince two local quilt shows they needed to add machine embroidery/applique quilts as a category. For the past few years, I have taught beginning machine embroidery to people who have gotten a machine and don’t know what to do next. My classes provide the students information on designs, threads, stabilizers, and tools as well as how to use their machine. Regardless of the brand of machine, I help them learn these steps and get them started on enjoying their new venture.
