Description:

Background fabric dyed by Debra Linker of Dye Happy. I wanted to add some applique to the background without taking away from the beauty of the dyed piece. One layer each of Hobbs Tuscany wool and cotton bamboo batting. It has trapunto under the flower applique and has been embellished with ribbon and Swarovski crystals. Quilting done on a stationary longarm machine, 100% hand guided. Applique pattern by Nancy Lee Chong of Pacific Rim Quilt Company.
