Description:

This quilt pattern has always intrigued me with its rainbow of colors and asymmetrical design. Being unfamiliar with paper piecing, I took a class from the designer, Jacqueline de Jonge, and immediately became hooked on the technique. Since each quilt component is unique, I enjoyed a variety of challenges in constructing this quilt including organizing the many fabric pieces, sewing together circular pieces of varying diameters and adding piping to the binding. The quilter, Karen McTavish, added her superb artistic talent to enhance the colorful fabric design.
