I have always admired the work of Sue Nickels and Pat Holly and was thrilled to attend a Holly Girls Retreat where this medallion quilt was featured. It is a take-off on their award winning Beatles Quilt. Raw-edge appliqué, drawing and quilting funky feathers, and applying piping are new techniques I used in this quilt.
