I loved the colors of earth and wanted it to feel like a warm embrace of the silk and cotton material.

Techniques:

I used paperless paper piecing and started in the middle and kept designing and add layers out to the edge. I did some machine embroidery and broidery purse. The edge treatment is each a tiny little quilt with three layers and embroidered and a binding on each individual unit.
