Description:

“Life’s A Beach” was the 2019 challenge from my local quilt guild. It was very improvised, building the picture as I went along. It is done with thousands of tiny pieces of chopped fabric (snippets), covered with tulle, and then quilted onto batting. I then added a back fabric and quilted the entire piece with vertical quilting. It was quite fun and a very messy piece!
