Description:

When I was putting blocks together I thought I saw a grandfathers clock and decided I needed to make the other blocks broken. Time Heals All. I wanted to create rhythm with various sizes of the blocks with as much repetition as I could do for unity of the quilt with good value of lights and darks.

Techniques:

This quilt was an improv quilt using some of my favorite colors. I just started sewing pieces together and slicing them and resewing them. Used a ruler for some of the strips and did lots of strips with free motion cutting. It was 99% pieced and only a tiny bit appliqued. Most of the quilting was ditch work with lots of free motion quilting.
