I have over 30 years of quilting experience and have made over 250 quilts. Many of the quilts have been my own patterns or modified patterns to create my own interpretation of the design. I want my quilts to be my own. Some of my patterns have been for Fandom in Stitches. In 2014, I started SWMI-T-Quilts, making custom t–shirt quilts.
My “”Storm at Sea Lighthouse”” was displayed at the AQS, 2017, Grand Rapids, MI quilt show. In 2019, my “”Sapphire Stars”” quilt hung at the Houston International Quilt Festival as part of the Sapphire Collection. A few of my quilts have won ribbons at the West Tennessee State Fair in Jackson, TN and at the Berrien Towne and Country Quilters shows in Berrien County, MI.
I taught beginner quilting classes at Sew Many Ideas, when I lived in Tennessee. Currently, I am teaching the License to Longarm and New Owner Longarm Classes at Accomplished Quilting in St. Joseph, MI. Besides teaching quilting classes, I have also taught Wilton Cake Decorating classes and worked a substitute teacher.
