VQS combines all the traditional elements of a quilt show in an online format. From the safety and comfort of home, you can enter a quilt competition, take classes, and shop your favorite vendors.
The Virtual Quilt Show is Nov. 9-15, 2020. All classes, shopping opportunities and quilt galleries will be available during this time at VirtualQuiltShow.com.

The Virtual Quilt Show began in Spring 2020 when shows and events cancelled and postponed. We heard the disappointment of the quilters and heard from the vendors and educators whose livelihoods were being impacted by these closures, we at Gammill looked around to see what we might be able to do to help the quilting community. We looked at what we have the manpower, skills and technical abilities to do. To access your classes, log into the VQS Class Portal.
Login using the username on your VQS class email confirmations. You may log in at any time and you should see a list of your registered classes. The materials for these classes will be available Nov. 9-15.
Your username is the name that you selected upon checkout and can be found in your class confirmation email. You can also use the “forgot password” link to locate your username.
If you have purchased a class, go to https://virtualquiltshows.com/login/forgot_password.php and enter your username or email and select “search.” A reset link will be sent to your email.
If you have not made a purchase, you will establish your username and password when you purchase a class.
VQS utilizes Zoom for our live classes and Live Q&A sessions. Zoom can be accessed via your computer desktop browser or through the Zoom App. Use the video instructions to download Zoom.

All classes and VQS events are listed in central (Chicago) time zone.

Class prices are based on approximate class length and are $40 per 90 minutes. Some classes may also have a kit that is required. You will be able to purchase these supplies during class registration and checkout.
Classes are available for all types of quilters! Class topics include piecing, applique, projects, longarm quilting and much more.

The quilts will be judged by three category judges. Meet the judges by clicking here.
The quilts will be judged by viewing high quality photos submitted by the quilter. The quilts will be judged by overall impact and precision of work. First place winners in an Aspiring Category will also be entered into the Master category for judging. Quilters will receive a ranking in each area, and judges comments when submitted.
Viewer’s Choice will be voted on by attendees of the quilt show. One vote per attendee.
Winners will be announced during our online awards ceremony at 4 p.m. central Nov. 12.
